When you complete the EffGap assessment, we may collect:

• Your answers to the assessment questions
• General professional information such as role, industry and organization size
• Information about your organization's use of AI
• Written responses to optional open questions
• Your email address, if you choose to provide it

The assessment is designed not to require your name or the name of your organization.

Please do not include confidential, sensitive or personally identifiable information in the open-text answers.

2. Why is the information collected?

Assessment responses are used to:

• Develop and improve the EffGap assessment
• Explore patterns in human-centered AI adoption
• Develop the Human Efficiency Profile and related insights
• Understand which results and recommendations are useful to participants and organizations

If you voluntarily provide your email address, it may also be used to contact you regarding your assessment, provide follow-up information or ask for feedback about the EffGap pilot.

Your email address will not be used for unrelated marketing without your consent.

3. Legal basis

Personal data voluntarily provided through EffGap is processed where necessary based on consent and/or legitimate interests in developing, evaluating and improving the EffGap service.

You may contact EffGap at any time regarding your personal data.

4. Data sharing

EffGap does not sell your personal data.

Data may be processed by technical service providers necessary to operate the website, assessment, database and email services.

5. Data retention

Pilot assessment data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to develop and evaluate EffGap.

Where possible, assessment responses may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for analysis after personally identifiable information is no longer required.

6. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR where applicable, you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, as well as restriction of or objection to certain processing.

You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
